This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, it also covers the GDPR.

2. Data we process

- When you visit the website: technical data such as IP address, browser, device, date and time, pages viewed.
- Membership: name, email address, password (encrypted), profile details you enter. If you sign up via Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email address and, where applicable, profile picture from that service.
- Contact: the details you share by form, email or phone.
- Newsletter: email address, optional first name, time of subscription and confirmation, opens and clicks.
- Partner links: when you click a partner link, an identifier is sent to the affiliate network and the retailer so that a purchase can be attributed to DAPPO. We receive no names or order details, only the commission.

Legal bases under the GDPR, where applicable: contract or membership (Art. 6(1)(b)), consent (Art. 6(1)(a), e.g. newsletter and cookies), legitimate interest in secure and economical operation (Art. 6(1)(f)) and legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).

4. Cookies

We use necessary cookies so the website works. Cookies for statistics, advertising and partner links are set only if you consent in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time in the cookie settings.

5. Disclosure to third parties

We do not sell personal data. We share data only with service providers who support our operations, with authorities where legally required, and otherwise only with your consent.

7. Transfers abroad

We transfer data to countries without adequate protection only with appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or certification under the Swiss-U.S. or EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

8. Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purpose or required by law. We delete member data after membership ends and newsletter data after unsubscribing, unless a retention obligation applies.

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access.

10. Your rights

You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Switzerland the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), in the EU the authority in your country of residence.
