Sämichlaus Design Market: An Advent Sunday to Discover and Savour
Outside, darkness falls early; inside, candles glow among fir branches. On Sunday, 6 December 2026, my winetime in Zurich opens its doors for the Sämichlaus Design Market – a day of beautiful things, good conversation and festive indulgence.
Some markets you push your way through. Others you simply arrive at. The Sämichlaus Design Market belongs to the second kind: a small, carefully chosen group of designers and brands presents their work in a setting made for lingering. Long wooden tables, warm light, soft music and the scent of Advent.

This is where you find what you won't find elsewhere.
